Visit to the Museum District

We actually did something else than just eating during the Christmas break. We went to the Center for Photography and the Menil Collection in the museum district of Houston. The best part? They were both free.  Jon Lee, our artist, was totally inspired as he was looking at the art works that were displayed.  We plan on visiting the Museum of Fine Arts some other time.  It’s free on Thursdays.

We tried to be creative with our shots outside the museums.  No matter how hard I try, my boys will always be awkward in their pictures.

Fun, creative, and humorous are words that describe me. I spend a lot of time with my family which consists of my husband, 4 children and extended relatives. I enjoy making and maintaining true and lasting friendships. Photography, writing, and music help express myself in artistic ways. I love all kinds of sports like basketball, volleyball, and tennis. I am a special education teacher in an urban school district. I feel it's my mission to teach children with disabilities and to be their advocate.
